Bloomsday 16th June

In honour of Bloomsday, our Casa at 17 South Frederick street will be serving our take on the famous Gorgonzola sandwich that Leopold Bloom enjoyed on his pilgrimage around Dublin city.

We'll be right in the heart of the action so do stop by and try!

Across the river, Bar Italia will also be serving a fabulous Gorgonzola pizza for the day!

Dublin, like many countries all over the world, celebrates Bloomsday in honour of James Joyce's novel Ulysses on 16th June every year. You will see people dressed in period costume with the famous straw hat, and various readings and performances are held all over the city in honour of the day.

Pierpaolo and Marco in Bar Italia can't wait to serve you their pizza!
